Brainstorming with the best in the business

I have always dreamed of working in the wedding industry. I have also always dreamed of holding my own wedding at a large, beautiful estate. To be able to invite the entire family, the in-laws, and all my friends to unforgettable experiences that everyone will look back on with a small smile on their lips. A place where I could feel like a true princess, immerse myself in beautiful nature, a great atmosphere, air, and space, and be completely free of worries... And where there are no bad photos, because the surroundings simply refuse to let a photo turn out badly.

Last Tuesday, I was lucky enough to arrange a meeting with Maria Lyng, who is a wedding planner at this beautiful estate. I was there to find inspiration and hear about the possibilities of holding a wedding at an estate. To hear about Maria’s experiences and perspective on weddings today. And then she offered for me to hold a photoshoot with the upcoming personal gift boxes at the estate – Wuhuu, even in the bridal suite!
At Sonnerupgaard, the possibilities are almost unlimited. Sleeping accommodations for 160 people must speak for itself.
After a lovely chat and brainstorming over a cup of coffee in the beautiful main building, I was shown around the different locations, and we were, among other things, in the 1877 barn – with room for 500 dining guests, you can host QUITE large weddings!

I haven't given up hope myself yet. Even though I am already married—beautiful and intimate as it was on our own sun-drenched terrace, with the mayor and a few neighbors as witnesses—I still dream of walking down the aisle by my father's side, meeting my husband, and enjoying the beautiful words from the priest.

Anyways, how envious I am of you future brides who are lucky enough to have managed to book a date at Sonnerupgaard Estate. You really have something to look forward to. If you should be even luckier and manage to book Maria as your wedding planner, she knows the place inside out. My impression of her was that nothing is left to chance, so yes, you can feel 100% secure that everything is under control.

BEMY is launching soon, and we are in full swing finding suppliers and making agreements left and right. There are simply too few hours in the day when you also have two lovely little dynamos :) Just think if you didn't need to sleep.
Today, we received our new boxes. We need to get started on the prototypes that will soon be on display. And I can promise you that it is delicious and beautiful. I absolutely love the color combinations we have arrived at, and there will definitely be a post soon where you can see the fine boxes really show their stuff, with decorations, products, and everything else :)
Thank you so much, Maria, for a wonderful meeting. It was a true pleasure to visit the beautiful estate, and I look forward to our cooperation in the future. There will certainly be fantastic atmospheres to capture the gift boxes in, and I would encourage anyone who even hints at the thought of a wedding at an estate to drop by Sonnerupgaard.
